If you are too ill to come to Surgery, the Doctor will visit you at home wherever possible or appropriate. Please let us know before 10.30 am wherever possible and be prepared to give brief details to the Receptionist so the Doctor can assess the urgency of your request. There may be occasions when the Doctor considers that direct hospital admission is appropriate.
House visits are only available for patients who are housebound because of illness or disability.
Please remember that several patients can be seen in the practice in the time that it takes to make one home visit. There are also better facilities for examining and treating patients at the Health Centre.
