Clinics & Services
The doctors work in partnership and they all provide general medical care, maternity, contraceptive advice, minor surgery, health promotion and child health surveillance services. We are able to fit IUCD (contraceptive coils) in Practice and this service is performed by Dr Sarah Savage and Dr Yolanda Diez following an initital consultation with her.
Chronic Disease And Follow Ups
Patients with chronic diseases will be reviewed regularly often at the times of their medication review. Please alternate between the doctor and nurse to ensure your benefit from the full care. From 1 April 2004 certain standards have been set by the Government for the care of chronic disease which can only be achieved by seeing the nurse as well as the doctor.
We ask however that you see the same doctor for follow-up of chronic diseases and other problems so that he/she is in a good position to oversee your care.
Practice Nurse Surgeries
Our Practice Nurses, Alison Draffan and Rachel Parton are responsible for all aspects of health promotion, holiday vaccinations, dressings, routine chronic disease management. Our Healthcare Assistant, Marion Waite is responsible for some aspect of patient care ie BP checks, Phlebotomy and NHS Health Checks.
Clinics are held at each of our surgeries.
If you are a housebound patient – a home visit can be arranged for you.
