Access To Medical Records
In accordance with the Access to Health Records Act 1990 you are entitled to sight of your medical records. There will be a charge for any photocopies that may be requested. You are also entitled to a copy of any referrals to consultants.
Your Right To Privacy
You have a right to keep your personal health information confidential between you and your doctor. This applies to everyone over the age of 16 years and in certain cases to those under 16. The law does impose a few exceptions to this rule, but apart from those you have a right to know who has access to your medical records.

Suggestions and Complaints
If you would like to make any suggestions or comments to improve our service to you, we would like to hear from you and provide suggestion boxes at all our Surgeries. You may write directly or contact the Practice Manager.
We have an in-house complaints procedure and if you are not happy with any aspect of the service you receive from the Practice, please contact the Practice Manager in the first instance. If you do not want to use the ‘in-house’ complaints system you can refer your complaint to NHS England (formerly the Commissioning Board) via email at england.contactus@nhs.uk or by telephoning 0300 311 2233. You can also address your complaint to POhWER who are the current independant provider of complaints advocacy, they can be emailed pohwer@pohwer.net or by telephone on 0300 456 2370.
