After 32 years with the practice, Dr Robert Smallman will be retiring on Friday 1st February.
Our Practice Nurse, Sue Paul will also be retiring on Wednesday 30th January after 30 years with the practice.
Please join us in wishing them both a long and happy retirement.
Currently nurses within Amber Valley GP Surgeries see patients who have complex dressing needs, a complex dressing that is for an injury that has not healed, or is unlikely to heal, within 2 weeks.
Derby Community Health Services have set up local dressings clinics for Amber Valley GP Practices. These clinics are staffed with trained nurses who will see patients in 3 local hubs; this will include patients from Crich Medical Practice.
By having these dressing clinics, patients will receive a better level of care and wounds will heal quicker. This will also free up time for our Practice Nurses who are over committed with appointment requests
During December 2353 appointments were made with a GP/Nurse/HCA
97% of patients attended the appointment they had booked!
Please cancel any appointments that you are unable to attend so that other patients can benefit from them
You can cancel & book appointments online if you are registered for SystmOnline. Please ask at reception for more details.

New Service For Patients
You may be aware that all practices are now required to provide their patients with a named GP who will have overall responsibility for the care and support that our surgery provides for them. Each patient now has a named GP but this does not prevent you from seeing a GP of your choice.
CRICH PATIENT PARTICIPATION GROUP NEEDS YOU!
Please note Crich PPG are looking for new members to join the group - please see detail on how to join in the Patient Group tab below.
